Perhelatan akbar Olimpiade Sains Nasional Pertamina telah dibuka, perhelatan sains ini diperuntukan untuk :
- Mahasiswa Program S-1 semua fakultas, minimal Semester III (Tiga), yang dibuktikan dengan kartu mahasiswa dan surat pengantar dari Ketua Jurusan/Dekan Fakultas Masing-masing
- Tidak pernah menjadi pemenang pada kompetisi sains tingkat perguruan tinggi nasional, dan tidak pernah mengikuti kompetisi sains perguruan tinggi internasional
- Pemenang OSN-Pertamina (d/h OSN-PTI) 2008, 2009 dan 2010 baik di tingkat provinsi maupun nasional tidak diperkenankan mengikuti OSN-Pertamina 2011
dan berikut ini adalah agenda OSN-Pertamina 2011

1 Agustus s.d 22 September 2011, Pendaftaran dilakukan secara online di www.osnpertamina.com
Jadwal Kompetisi
- Seleksi Tingkat Provinsi
Babak Penyisihan (Ujian Tertulis Multiple Choice) akan berlangsung serentak disemua provinsi pada tanggal 27 September 2011, dan semua hasilnya akan diumumkan pada tanggal 1 Oktober 2011
Final Tingkat Provinsi (Ujian Tertulis Essay & Paparan Makalah) pada tanggal 7 Oktober 2011
- Seleksi Tingkat Pusat
Akan diselenggarakan pada tanggal 1-4 November 2011 yang akan diikuti para pemenang tingkat provinsi
